MOROCCAN CINNAMON SPICED ORANGES
Ingredients:
For each person:
1 or 2 navel oranges
2 tablespoons raw/ unrefined honey or maple syrup
ground cinnamon
Slice up the oranges, drizzle with honey or maple syrup and sprinkle with cinnamon. Refreshing, high fiber, low calorie and packed with vitamin C - perfect for winter. This delicious dessert is aprox 100 calories per serving, (as opposed to most desserts which are 300+) takes minutes to prepare and is very inexpensive.
ah man, i am SO trying those recipes!! i hope it doesn't matter what kind of oranges i have cuz we only do cuties/ clementines around here. :) and i know this is a stupid question, but does it matter which kind of apples are used for this second yummy recipe??

PJ - you are a stronger woman than me! I'm doing much better than I have in the past though. So that's good. And I'm getting back on the wagon... I know that eating healthier will make me feel better and the longer I stick to it the easier it gets to continue...Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Debi and Angie - Frisky and Jessie and everyone else! Hey, I agree it's all moderation and don't put me on a pedistal yet ! Don't think I spent all that time making them and I won't eat them :-) But I am going to savor each one, slowly and then stop. Years past I would just inhale. I've slowed down my eating....put the fork down, chew, enjoy. Jessie suggested that for Thanksgiving and I was the last one done eating and I had no seconds! I remembered eating so I enjoyed it more. On a separate note...I can't login to BDB Shellans :-( I'll keep trying ! Well, I have 12 peeps coming over tonight....must clean :-(
